Kariba Incorporated Area Residents and Rate Payers Association (KIARRA) held its General Council Meeting yesterday at ZV Hotel and resolved that names which were nominated in the meeting will be endorsed to fill in the vacancies within the Kiarra System, in the Annual General Meeting to be held on Saturday the 19th of this month at Mopani Bay Campsite at 1000hrs. It also came from that same meeting that the Executive Chairperson shall appoint his successor upon leaving the office.

Divine Hand Ministries (DHM)’s all night prayer to be held on Friday the 18th of December 2015, in Nyamhunga at Tee Box Open Space Complex at 20.00 hours. The all-night prayer is expected to meet quite a number of prayer requests which includes the possibility of having a safe and sound festive season.

Kariba is welcoming all those travelling from various places to spend their holidays in the town. Quite a number of activities have been lined up towards the festive season and these include Christmas bashes, parties, boat cruises, game viewing and many more various activities amongst others. Some of the places that have promised fireworks includes CuttySark Hotel, Mopani Bay (KwaMairosi), ZV Hotel and Last 6 Hide Out (Big 2) amongst others.

Walter Musona and Wisdom Mutasa are now set to rejoin FC Platinum when the transfer window opens next month following the termination of their contract with Slovakia top-flight side SK Seneca. They had experienced a difficult start following the departure at the club of the coach who had signed them following a three-week trial period. They will be rejoining FC Platinum, the club they have been playing for before they left for Slovakia.They have been training with the club since they returned but will officially rejoin the club when the window opens. They resolved the impasse when they held a meeting and Aces Academy gave the players the greenlight to train with a club of their choice so that they stay in shape until January window.

Highlanders restored its lost pride after winning the Easycall Cup. Bosso last won a trophy in 2013 by bagging the Mbada Diamonds Cup. On Sunday it defeated Chicken Inn by one goal to nil and lifted the Netone sponsored Easycall Cup.
