Red Rose Pre-school held its graduation ceremony today. The students show cased what they were taught through dramas, poems and other sporting activities .About 100 pupils graduated today.

Two Chirundu men who were accused of smuggling second hand clothes, prohibited drugs and illegal skin enlightening cream were sentenced yesterday at Kariba Magistrate Court. One was pleaded guilty and was sentenced to pay a fine of $500 or to serve five months in prison if he fails to pay the fine / The other one to appear before court for the trial.

Heights Primary School have made history this year by scoring 98% pass rate for its grade 7 ZIMSEC results.

Nyanhewe Primary School attained 61%.

Yesterday people celebrated the National AIDS day. Mr Samson Coffee of  Kariba National AIDS Council addressed that those who are infected should take medication  Mr Coffee also said that it is their wish that by 2030 they should do away with that disease.

Municipality of Kariba is advising Kariba residents that 2015 Mayor’s Christmas Cheer fund Dinner which was scheduled for this weekend at Carribea Bay hotel has been postponed. Date to be announced.
