Mahombekombe Secondary school held its speech and prize day today. Parents, guardians and its School Development Committee attended the event. Chairperson for SDC Mr Dube addressed that parents should pay fess not to disturb children.

The case involving Padenga Holdings Supervisor Tapera Kayongwe came to an end yesterday as the five who were alleged of trespassing and theft were sentenced yesterday at Kariba Magistrate Court. Among the five Kayongwe and the other two men were found not guilty against the allegations. Two men were found guilty and were sentenced to pay a fine of $200 or 60 days in prison.

 

 

Nyanhewe Primary School also held its ECD graduation today .About 110 graduated.

 

Minister of Finance Patrick Chinamasa presented the National budget for 2016 yesterday.He presented a budget of 4 billion. He addressed that on the agriculture sector the government is going to provide free inputs for cotton farmers for the coming three years. One million for Malaria Residual Spraying Program and that the government to fire 1200 ZISCO workers. the workers to be given three months notice with effect from 1 December 2015. 80 % of the 4 billion for salaries.
